Established in 1981 in Colchester, G & C Softwoods are ideally located to service customers throughout East Anglia, Southern England and London.

We offer top class softwoods from sustainable sources in Europe and North America; machined at our purpose-built mill and factory to the highest standard.

Our highly trained and motivated tradesmen use traditional skills coupled to the latest technology and quality control techniques to produce profiles and joinery products for stock and to customer specification – products and services which we are proud and confident to offer to our customers.

Our customer base ranges from large national house builders to building contractors, joiners, specialist trades, and local carpenters.

Customers all have one requirement in common – the need for high quality, well-machined timber products, supported by efficient sales and customer service and a delivery system that is never compromised. Our experience and knowledge of timber merchanting accumulated through three decades of hands-on service, enables us to fully understand the needs and expectations of all our customers.
